Hayward PoolVac Classic Access Door Assembly (AXV141)
The access door assembly is a replacement part that was made by Hayward. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.
This is a great feature that Hayward created for the PoolVac Classic and the purpose of this door is to be removed if the cleaner seems to be having trouble operating as there can be debris caught in the turbine kit. So, by removing the access door you can locate the issue and remove anything that may be impeding the turbine and or cleaners operating capabilities.
This door is white to match the color scheme of the cleaner and is held into place with a singular screw on the bottom center opening of the cleaner. Also, some grooves lead to the mouth opening in the door centers that help create a suction channel so that way the dirt and debris will flow up into the opening and out the cleaner and into the filtration system.
