Hayward PoolVac/Navigator V-Flex turbine bearing 2 pack are replacement parts that are made by Hayward. They used the same high-grade materials that were used to make the original factory parts. This makes them genuine OEM parts that all our customers can trust.
These bearings are located on opposite ends of the turbine and the purpose of these bearings are to help the turbine rotate, giving the cleaner the power and ability to maneuver by pulsating the pods back and forth with the help of the a-frames, moving the cleaner around the entirety of the pools surface so it can suck and pull dirt debris and other forms of mulch leaving behind a crystal clear look.
These parts are larger than the normal bearings used for the other parts of the cleaner and are black. They have several steel balls that are water lubricated (do not lubricate with grease) located inside. They give them the ability for easy movement so when these bearings go bad this movement is effected greatly causing a decline in the cleaners abilities to correctly operate and will need to be replaced.
