The swivel kit is a replacement part made by Hayward. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.
This swivel was designed specifically for these pressure cleaners and its purpose is to allow the cleaner’s feed hose from tangling, and also allows the cleaner to turn out of corners or away from steps that would normally impede the cleaner, thus making its cleaning efforts insufficient.
This part is an off-white color and is 1 of 4 total that is placed in between the Hoses along with the hose kit. This makes it easy to identify if needing to be replaced when the bearing on the inside of the swivel goes bad. This normally is caused by the length of use or life span of the cleaner causing it to wear down or deteriorate. just simply replace the parts affected by this and it will return the cleaner to its normal functioning capabilities.
