Pentair Dorado Shroud (360153)
The shroud is a replacement part that was made by Pentair. The same high-quality materials are used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.
The shroud was designed to be a protective cover for the internal parts of the cleaner while giving it a clean sleek look. This also provides the cleaner the ability to glide through the water as it performs its cleaning tasks ensuring there isn’t any impediment that could disrupt the cleaning process.
This part is grey and can be found above the lower body or “chassis” making it very easy to identify and locate if or when needing to be replaced as it is only held together by a few screws and other neighboring parts. When trying to troubleshoot an issue with the cleaner being weighed down or having trouble climbing it could be caused to this shroud being cracked or damaged so you want to check the integrity of this housing for such damage and replacing if the damage is found to restore the cleaner to its normal functionality.
