The center brush kit (Set 2 of 2) are replacement parts that are made by Pentair. They used the same high-grade materials that were used to make the original factory parts. Making this a genuine OEM product.
The brush kit was built to aid these suction cleaners in the cleaning process and the removal of algae, dirt, and other forms of mulch off the surface of your pool. It does this with the bristle-drive technology created by Pentair which is meant to help get in uneven and course pool surfaces to pull up the algae and dirt that other cleaners might not be able to get to. These brushes help by getting these items near the center and large mouth opening of the Great White and Dorado where they can be sucked out of the pool and into the filtration system.
These parts are virtually identical in size shape and color, the base being white and on its end, the bristles being black just like that of the brush ring. They are easy to identify and remove as they can wear and deteriorate over a length of time and the use of the cleaner just need to remove a few screws and other parts to gain access, all of which can be done with the help of some time and a Philips head screwdriver.
