Pentair Kreepy Krauly Great White / Dorado Lift Brush Spring (GW9522)
The lift brush spring is a replacement part that was made by Pentair. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.
The spring was designed for the lift brush and its purpose is to help the cleaner in the department of maneuverability. It does this by lifting the brush when changes the flow of water and direction so that way the suction cleaners can rotate and move forward to another part of the pool’s surface. This also helps when it comes to keeping the cleaner out of trouble spots that might impede it like the corners, steps, drains, and even the water line on the walls.
This part is metallic and can be found located above the lift brush in a cylinder-like area that fits over the diameter of the spring. A great troubleshooting tip, if the lift brush isn’t operating properly, would be to check the placement of the spring or one of the surrounding parts that help it operate like the idler gears or cam kit for any wear or damage that could be disrupting the operating process.
