The shaft kit – includes (shaft mounting screws) which are replacement parts that are made by Pentair. They used the same high-grade materials that were used to make the original factory parts. Making this a genuine OEM product.
The shaft kit that was built for this cleaner is special because the two objects that are included with it hold 2 of the 3 idler gears in place while also giving them the freedom to rotate. They then connect to the 3rd idler gear as well as the cam kit all of which help operate the lift brush, allowing the cleaner to turn or rotate out of trouble spots like drains, corners, and steps.
The parts themselves are made from a stainless-steel material and are smaller in size when compared to the long gear shaft. The kit contains the small shaft as well as the shaft mounting screw, both very easy to identify when looking at the parts diaphragm or inside the internals of these cleaners and can be removed with the help of a large and small screwdriver.
