This Screw was created for two specific parts on the Kreepy Krauly Legend / Legend II / Platinum. Those parts play vital roles in the success of the cleaning power of these pressure cleaners, and those parts are the turbine shaft shield and the turbine cover w/ elbows.
The part has a metallic finish just like most screws have and a total of 5 are needed to accomplish the task of locking the turbine shaft and turbine cover to the main frame. If having to replace these screws we recommend using a handheld screwdriver as opposed to a power drill when installing because if they are over torqued they can cause damage to the surrounding plastic parts and to the effectiveness of the pressure cleaner. Ultimately meaning they would need to be replaced.
