The sweep hose scrubber was designed for the sweep hose assembly and its purpose is to scrub along the bottom of your pool’s surface as the cleaners sweep hose whips itself back and forth from the high-pressure water that it disperses. This agitates any dirt, debris, other forms of mulch, and algae that lingers around the surface of your pool so that way the cleaner can suck it up and into the debris bag leaving behind a crystal-clear look. Both parts however are an extra add on meaning the sweep hose is NOT required to be installed for the cleaner to operate but it does Improve the cleaning power and radius of these pressure cleaners.
Naturally, the scrubber starts to wear over time and use of the cleaner which ultimately means it will need to be replaced at some point. You can find this part very easily as it is located on the end of the sweep hose itself, it is very easy to remove and replace.
