The engine assembly is a replacement assembly made by Zodiac. All the parts that are included with it are made from the same high-grade plastic/rubber materials as the original factory parts. Making them genuine OEM parts.
This part comes pre-assembled with a total of 4 individual parts that all make up the engine assembly. Each part serves a different purpose and when combined gives the cleaner the ability and power to suck and pull dirt, debris, leaves, and other types of mulch off the pool’s surface. this leaves behind a neat and clean trail and eventually will make its way throughout the entirety of your pool.
The engine assembly comes with the outer extension pipe (Black), and the cup assembly which is also (Black) but is smaller and has rivets on the end and is threaded to lock the assembly together. Also, there is the inner extension pipe (Black) and finally, the dura life diaphragm which is made from a clear rubber material, and a yellow one that sits in the center of it giving the part the ability to expand with the flow of water.
