The cyclonic leaf catcher is a replacement part made by Zodiac for the Barracuda T5 Duo suction side pool cleaner. It is made from the same high-grade plastic material as the original factory part.
This is a cool add-on provided by Zodiac for the T5 Duo suction cleaner. The purpose of this part is to catch larger debris and mulch spinning it around like a cyclone or just like a vacuum you use inside your home. This prevents it from getting into your filtration system and causing any blockage or damage to it. You connect this part to the first section of the hose which is locked into the suction wall or skimmer depending on the design of your pool.
This part has a clear canister with a blue top and a Silver filter that rests in the center. This also has a handle on the side for easy grip and removal allowing you to empty the canister when full. It also has a nice check valve on the bottom which releases the water so that way it doesn’t splash you in any way while standing on your pool deck.
